The Sovereign is one of The Royal Mint’s flagship bullion coin ranges, it’s history, beauty and worldwide liquidity making it deserving of its status as the “Chief Coin of the World”.\nThe reverse of the coin returns to Benedetto Pistrucci’s classic St George and the dragon design.\nThe obverse features the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III.\nThe 2025 Sovereign Bullion coin will be the final time that The Royal Mint will mint bullion Sovereigns in its current “red” colour, sometimes referred to as rose gold. The launch of the 2026 Sovereign Bullion Coin range will see The Sovereign return to its traditional “Yellow Gold” colour.
